Terms of Application

These terms apply when you apply to KINDLING Global Summit. By submitting an application you accept them.

1. One application each

Each person may submit one application. Duplicate applications, including those made under a second email address, may be withdrawn without refund.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the Summit and able to travel to Malaysia. There is no upper age limit. You do not need a title; you need a track record of taking initiative.

3. The application fee

The application fee of US$19 covers processing and review. It is non-refundable, including when an application is not selected. A valid waiver code from OPPNERGY may reduce or remove it.

4. Selection

Applications are scored by at least two reviewers using a published rubric. Decisions are final. We may offer you a different place from the one you asked for, if you said you are open to that.

5. Offers

An offer is open for 14 days. Partially funded places are confirmed by paying the commitment fee; self-funded places by paying the event pass; fully funded places by accepting in the portal. An offer not accepted in time lapses and is passed to the waitlist.

6. Visas and travel

You are responsible for your passport and any visa. Our invitation letter supports a visa application but does not guarantee one. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you arrive in Malaysia.

7. Honesty

Everything in your application must be true and your own work. We may withdraw an offer, or a place, if it is not.

8. Changes to the programme

Speakers, sessions and the venue may change. If the Summit is cancelled by the organisers, the Refund Policy applies.
