KINDLING Global Summit brings together people from many countries, faiths and backgrounds. It only works if everyone feels safe. This code applies to delegates, speakers, mentors, partners, volunteers and staff, online and in person.

We expect everyone to

  • Treat others with respect, whatever their nationality, gender, religion, age, disability or background.
  • Listen, share the floor, and give credit for other people's ideas.
  • Respect Malaysian law and local customs.
  • Ask before photographing or filming someone, and respect a "no".
  • Attend the sessions you are registered for and be on time.

We do not accept

  • Harassment, intimidation or discrimination of any kind.
  • Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
  • Selling, recruiting or fundraising from other delegates without permission.
  • Illegal drugs, or drinking to the point of disrupting others.

If something happens

Speak to any team member at the registration desk, or write to hello@oppnergy.com. Reports are handled in confidence. We may remove anyone who breaks this code from the Summit, without refund.
