Refund Policy

Every fee is listed on the Funding & Fees page before you pay. Here is when each can be refunded.

Application fee (US$19)

Non-refundable. It pays for processing and reviewing your application, whatever the outcome.

Commitment fee (US$150, partially funded places)

• Cancel 60 or more days before the Summit: 50% refunded.
• Cancel less than 60 days before: not refundable, because your hotel and meals are already booked.
• Visa refused, with the refusal letter: 100% refunded.

Event pass (US$650, self-funded places)

• Cancel 60 or more days before the Summit: 75% refunded.
• Cancel 30 to 59 days before: 50% refunded.
• Cancel less than 30 days before: not refundable.
• Visa refused, with the refusal letter: 100% refunded.

If we cancel

If the organisers cancel the Summit, every commitment fee and event pass is refunded in full. Flights booked by delegates are not covered, so please buy flexible tickets or travel insurance.

How to ask

Write to hello@oppnergy.com with your application reference. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 10 working days.
